This new band from the bay area has developed a sloppy and unpolished style of hardcorepunk. They write simple songs that balance between repetitive midtempo grooves and stomping hardcore assaults. A UK peace punk influence becomes obvious but in the end it's Publy Cry own unqiue style.
Diaspora from Washington are heavily influenced by early '80s US hardcore. Far from generic, this demo offers four songs driven by a brilliant guitar-work and a powerful rhythm section. Reminds me of Articles Of Faith and "Land Speed Record" era Hüsker Dü.

Cuntroaches from Berlin are currently looking for someone to release this 7". And if I had a label I would be interested. This trio has developed a crude minimalistic but shredding fusion of hardcore noise and no wave punk. An intense and totally unique 6 songs inferno.
